Coming this Fall!  The Fleet Owner Job Fairs for Drivers & Mechanics will be launched in strategic venues across the U.S. over the next 18 months, beginning October 14 at the Georgia International Convention Center in Atlanta and in Southern California this Fall.  Each Job Fair will take place on a Saturday from 10:00 am to 4:30 pm.  Visit this site for updates over the next few months.

More than a Job Fair, we will provide an educational environment targeting non-traditional pools of potential drivers, including Hispanics, servicemen and women returning to the civilian job market, early retirees, as well as those who have had their fill of stocking shelves and serving fast food.

The day will begin with an introduction to all attendees describing a “Day in the Life of a Professional Truck Driver”, talking about the responsibilities, excitement, adventure and rewards.  We’ll discuss the qualifications, necessary training, salary levels, benefits, time off, types of drivers, and even how to pick the right kind of carrier to work for.  Candidates will have an opportunity to attend a one-hour seminar with instructions on how to compose a resume, target prospective transport companies, prepare for an interview and other essential details of a job search. 

THE FOCUS WILL BE SOLELY ON MATCHING POTENTIAL DRIVERS, TECHICIANS AND MECHANICS WITH TRUCKING COMPANIES THAT ARE HIRING.
